“My passion for hair comes from being visually stimulated by beauty and I love making people feel good about themselves because I believe that this goodness of feeling great can be passed on to others.”

Bob founded Jask Salon & Day Spa in 2003. His vision of creating a tranquil, relaxing environment was born of his love and passion for the beauty industry and he wanted to create a unique business that would exceed expectations and provide a great work environment for service providers and hair stylists, like himself.

Bob graduated from the Marvel Hairstyling Program in 1991. As a Senior Hairstylist and Master Colorist, Bob has trained in various cutting and coloring courses on an international level, studying in Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, as well as Los Angeles, SanDiego, Dallas and Vigo, Spain. Most notably, Bob has successfully completed highly crafted courses with Vidal Sassoon, Sebastian, Wella, Toni & Guy, KMS, Suki’s, Avalon, Eufora, I.C.O.N and Davines. A Great Lengths Master Hair Extension specialist, Bob is also skilled in colors, highlights, Balayage and color corrections. Bob has also completed Anna Pacitto & Daniel Benoit’s Goldess Cutting Course and Naomi Knights Goldess Color course hosted by Davines and The Irish Barber’s Barbering course by Luke Duffy.

When not expanding Jask’s horizons, Bob enjoys learning new business and marketing techniques and has a passion to make a difference in the local community so that every bit counts.

Nick Gindl

“I’ve always had a great passion for all aspects of the arts and hairstyling was another avenue to venture into and keep my love of creativity alive.”

Nick graduated from Hughes Hairstyling program, Montreal QC, in 1980. Since then he’s worked in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa and owned his own salon before joining the Jask team in 2003. Nick has years of experience with such brands as Wella, Goldwell, Rusk, Joico and Paul Mitchell. In the last decade, Nick has studied hairstyling techniques with Tony & Guy in New York, Vidal Sassoon, Eufora, I.C.O.N, Davines and is a Senior Hairstylist and Colorist, strong in highlights and color techniques. Nick also completed Anna Pacitto & Daniel Benoit’s Goldess Cutting Course and Naomi Knights Goldess Color course hosted by Davines.

When not studying fashion and focusing on new styles, Nick enjoys music, playing guitar and all things concerning the great outdoors.

Leslie Cardillo

Leslie graduated from the Peterborough Technical College in England, in 1980. His training with Vidal Sassoon, Tony and Guy, David Marshall, San Rizz, Wella, L’Oreal, Martin Parsons, I.C.O.N, Eufora and Davines has spanned over three decades in London, Switzerland, Kenya and Canada. A Senior cutting and coloring stylist, Leslie also excels in specialty styles, up do’s and hair extensions. Leslie completed Anna Pacitto & Daniel Benoit’s Goldess Cutting Course and Naomi Knights Goldess Color course hosted by Davines and The Irish Barber’s Barbering course by Luke Duffy .

Leslie is Jask’s photographer and the creator of Photostyle, a unique photo concept that is perfectly paired with a hair appointment.

When not hairstyling or taking photos, Leslie enjoys playing squash, cooking and reading when he gets a chance to sit still long enough.

Amanda Ris

Amanda Lee graduated from Versailles Academy’s Hairstyling program in 2000. A master colorist with training by Wella, TiGi and I.C.O.N., Amanda Lee is also a Eufora Colorist who completed the Bombshell Blond and Ravishing Reds courses as well as the Flamboyage, Balayage and Ombre Techniques. Amanda Lee completed advanced cutting courses by Tony & Guy, Anthony Edge and is a master Martin Parson’s Up Do specialist. Amanda Lee is trained in smoothing and curling systems, Eufora Elixir color correction systems and hair extensions.

When not hairstyling, Amanda Lee enjoys music, movies and any type of motor sport, both land and sea.

Jawni Vu

Jawni graduated from West End Academy’s Hairstylist program with Honors in 2011. Since then he has completed the Vidal Sassoon ABC cutting course and WHAL Men’s cutting course. As a Colorist, Jawni is trained in coloring, highlighting and Balayage techniques as well as color corrections. He has also successfully completed training with the Cezanne Hair Smoothing Systems. Jawni, a blade specialist, is also the JASK hair tattoo wizard. Jawni completed the Davines Core Razor Cutting Course and attended the Guy Tang Coloring Seminar in Toronto, as well as The Irish Barber’s Barbering course by Luke Duffy. An exceptional barber and an excelled Hairstylist, Jawni's passion for the hair industry is infectious.

When Jawni is not hairstyling, he enjoys being with his animals, building and maintaining self-sufficiency projects and living life to the fullest in the great outdoors.

Pascal Bandek

Pascal graduated from Roverhair Hairstyling School in Torino, Italy, in 1997. Since then he has completed Goldwell training in Holland, Jean Claud Biguine in Paris, L'Oreal & Redken in Boston. As a Colorist, Pascal's education has spanned over the USA, France Italy and Canada. Pascal is trained in coloring, highlighting and Balayage techniques as well as color corrections. Specializing in a wide range of techniques, Pascal's vast experience ranges from procision haircuts to intracate up dos.

A haircutting specialist and master styler, Pascal speaks four languages and brings a wealth of knowledge to the hairstyling industry. Whether it's a simple make trim or a complete makeover, Pascal approaches each appointment with professionalism, enthusiasm and a genuine desire to help people look and feel their very best.

When Pascal is not hairstyling, he enjoys playing Score, traveling and volunteering in his community as project manager.

Melanie Patience

As an advanced stylist, Melanie's product knowledge is extensive and she is very well practiced in all forms of home care to keep your locks looking fresh, as well as hydrated.

When Melanie is not hairstyling, she enjoys playing hockey, traveling and living life to the fullest with her family and friends.

Rachhana Chudaudon

Rachhana graduated from Algonquin College's Hairstyling program in 2009. Since then she has completed many courses, including Schwarzkopf's Color, Balayage and Cutting courses, Redken's Highlighting Techniques course, as well as certification as a Great Length's Hair Extension Specialist and Cezanne's Smoothing System. Rachhana has extensive product knowledge with Redken, Living Proof, Kevin Murphy, Aveda and more.

When Rachhana is not hairstyling, she loves spending time with her children, doing arts & crafts, swimming and biking.

Rubi Colaneri

Rubi graduated from Versailles’s Hairstyling program in 2023. Since then, she has apprenticed at Jask, working under the senior Hairstylists, training and learning techniques for cutting, coloring and styling. A master head-massage specialist, Rubi is proficient in product knowledge for Redken, Living Proof, Statements, Eufora and Pureology. Rubi has attended training courses such as the Redken's Balayage course and the Redken's Cutting course.

When not hairstyling, Rubi enjoys walks in nature, cooking, and collecting and building Lego.

Holly Shortreed

Holly graduated from Versailles’s Hairstyling program in 2023. A master head-massage specialist, Holly is proficient in product knowledge for Redken, Living Proof, Statements, Eufora and Pureology.

When not hairstyling, Holly enjoys the gym, working with animals and horses, and hiking in the great outdoors.

Colleen Farrell

Colleen graduated from Algonquin College’s Esthetics program in 2015. A Dr. Renaud Facialist with training by Laboratoire Dr. Renaud, Colleen is also a Misencil Eyelash Extension Specialist. Colleen specializes in advanced sugaring techniques and is a highly trained Henna Brow specialist. She is also highly skilled in pedicures, manicures, waxing and is proficient with product knowledge from Qtica, Zoya, Alexandria Sugar, Gewol, Dr. Renaud, Misencil and Footlogix.

When not offering spa services, Colleen enjoys fire spinning, crystal collecting and working on healing techniques, and she also loves camping in the great outdoors.

Madison (Madi) Howard

When Madi is not in the spa, she loves spending time on nature walks, spending time with family and friends and since her passion is so high, doing spa services on those family members and friends.

Kathleen Hudson

Jask's rising star, Kathleen is currently attending Algonquin College's Esthetic Program and is graduating in 2024. Kathleen graduated with her manicure and pedicure diploma from Windsor Beauty Supply in 2021. A proficient manicurist and pedicurist, Kathleen has extensive product knowledge with Qtica, Zoya, BioSeaweed, Gehwol, Essie and more.

When Kathleen is not preforming esthetic services, she loves crocheting and making jewelry out of beach glass. An avid walker and dog lover, Kathleen always has a few dog treats in her pocket for your pooch in case you meet her on the trails.

Meg Gallacher

Meg graduated from the MC College of Esthetics in Edmonton in 2019. She is highly trained in lash lifts & tints and is extremely experienced in manicures, pedicures, sugaring and microdermabrasion. She is proficient in medical esthetics including facials, chemical peels, Microneedling and laser hair removal. Meg loves doing make up applications, eyebrow shaping and has extensive knowledge in many product lines, including Dr Renaud, Yonka, GM Collins and Eminence.

Noah Amorim

An eyebrow shaping specialist, Noah is extremely proficient in all types of facial and body waxing. Certified in lymphatic massage and uplifting facial massage, Noah is also Qua Sha trained.

Mily Fisher
